They can be found at http://www.fpvlr.com
The larger one that points down is one of the two. Other on other side of quad.

Happyflyer, I noticed you have a camera lens sun shade on your FC200.....how is it attached? I have one but it is not a snug fit. Thx.
here's a link to the mount kit http://www.amazon.com/Phantom-Vision-Part-Filter-Mounting/dp/B00IAS60VM
i use this shade on my vision and its very snug. Cost less than 3 bucks.

Skip, is it meant for the Phantom 2 Vision's FC200? Your link takes me to "Dji Phantom 2 Vision Part 27 Lens Filter Mounting Kit" as opposed to a sunshade for the FC200. Thx.

Yes thats the exact one I have for my Vison 2.You need that kit to install filters and the hood correctly with out clue bungies starps etc...
You can install any 46mm filter or hood you like then, Here's one similar to mine. https://www.amazon.com/Fotasy-LT46-...qid=1427229252&sr=8-7&keywords=46mm+Lens+hood
I also have the plus but no lens filter for it I did print a hood tho.

i also have that same mounting kit and same lens hood for my p2v (non plus) and love it. the lens mounting kit fits perfectly and is very high quality for the cost. the hood is a bit on the heavy side (once i add in my NDF or CPL plus the hood, it is hard to get the rotorpixel to balance rear exactly but ive managed to get it just good enough to work). but that points out one thing im not keen on wiht my RP and that is versatile balancing. if i put the hood on or take it off or stack lenses, the weight changes and therefore makes it where ideally i would want to rebalance but getting to the two slider screws is a bear.

Reasons above is why I like my installation better. I don't need or want more weight on my quad. The fancy holder may look nice, but it just adds up on the load on the quad.

it isnt weight for the quad that is the issue (the whole thing weighs in at less than 8 grams which on a 1200gram quad isnt going to affect flight time. the weight issue was in terms of the lenses themselves and balancing the gimbal motors not the weight of the mounting kit. if you only have the lens hood and no lenses then you dont get to put on a CPL or NDF ever, and are missing out on some good features from those, particularly since the mounting kit only weighs 8g

Well done :)
Thanks :) I have not had to wait like all in this tread but just these few days have about killed me waiting on this thing!! Now I know it's close I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve

Just take your time so you put it on right side up or you will have to fly up side down to get good video.

Lol I know what you mean. I'm waiting on good weather to try mine again. Ain't flown for weeks now.

Well ya know I have been known to ah sorta do that but hope dem days over!!

Hey guys - Been a while since I've been on the site...still taking in the new interface. Very cool!
Anyhow....
I have recently been experiencing compass calibration issues directly related to the Rotorpixel.
Basically, if the gimbal is plugged in and running during calibration, I get the calibration error warning from the Phantom. If I unplug the gimbal, power up the Phantom, and calibrate, everything works okay. And since I know the question is coming... I regularly travel over 30 miles between flying locations and therefore calibrate often. ;)
I understand why this happens, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? And if so, has anyone upgraded to the newer compass to see if the issue persists?

Thanks!

I have been having exactly the same issue with my P2V with Rotorpixel gimbal since upgrading to the version 3.12 firmware.

Is your Rotorpixel gimbal one of the early model ones with the larger motors, or the current design with smaller motors?

BManCan...
Yes, guess I could have added a little more info... my issues started with 3.12 as well, and I have the newer small motor design rotorpixel.
I'll take a look at your other post...
