I could be wrong, but I think he meant settings for flight (alarms, gains, etc.)Cajvol94 said:joi said:do you have to change any settings when using higher capacity batteries?
No it will just take a little longer to charge.

What is the minimum cell voltage that would indicate that it was "done" (for this flight anyway)?SocalQuad said:I got 20 minutes out of the Multistar 4000mAh (no gimbal) but it looks like it could go for more. The red lights started flashing at the 13 mins mark and I let it hover for an additional 7 mins before I forced it to land. It could have hover for another 2-5 mins but I decided to land it. I checked the battery voltage and it still has 3.7Volts on each cell.

I was interested in this battery before and enough people say it fits. So may as well give it a shot.
Agreed about the 1.5mm shaving of the bottom of the door hinge area but no need to connect externally. Connect the leads, push the battery in leads first and shut the door. No problem at all.deltamike said:dragonash said:hell, just ordered 1 now.

Well, here's one person that KNOWS it DOES NOT fit in a stock FC40.
You will have to shave off about 1.5 mm. just above the door hinge to cram it in and then it is VERY advisable to put the connector outside the door like :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtHdjawTiRM
Good luck

I thought we all knew that already! The only video I've seen on it reports that it requires 1-2 mm shaving of the bottom of the opening.deltamike said:dragonash said:hell, just ordered 1 now.
