Hello all, patience anyone?

A couple years ago someone in here helped me set up my old p4 p and it went great, I went from aggravated to flying in about a day. Fast forward to a crash and now I bought another one with a iPad mini and I need some assistance ( again) I'm a bit older ( age not attitude) and admit my computer skills suck at best, once I get everything hooked properly on good but I get so **** mad at myself and YouTube videos that I see no alternative except asking for HELP! So if anyone with patience cares to help a old guy out he would be appreciated!

I believe the op is referring to the iPad “mini”.
I’ve been rong before.

What iPad are you working with? There has been an issue with iOS and
Phantom4 Pro’s. I’ll see if I can find that post to be sure I’m remembering correctly.(old gray matter!)

iPad 5 mini and iPad OS 17

I just wanted to give you all some information. I have successfully found out that the iPad 5 mini and iPad OS17 does work together with the DJI GO 4 software and Phantom 4 Pro. I also tried it with a iPhone 13 and iOS 17 phone as well and didn't run into any issues. I did run into problems...

Yep -- it needs to be downloaded from the DJI website. Start with that manual and let us know if you have any questions after reading through the relevant sections.

iPad mini wont connect to controller

I recently picked up a phantom 4 pro (v1) and when trying to connect my iPad mini with USB-C it won’t connect to the controller. I have tried with my iPhone and it connects to the controller and drone fine, it’s just the iPad that doesn’t work. Has anyone experienced this?

Sorry about that, iPad mini, I have only used Android in the past. I can't seem to link the iPad to the drone for seeing what the drone sees
