P4P Aftermarket Batteries in 2024

I have several P4P v2.0 and bought a couple of aftermarket batteries. They are "ExpertPower 2 Pack High Capacity (15.2V 5870mAh) Intelligent Flight Replacement Battery for DJI Phantom 4". I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable about putting the AC up in the are with them. Does anyone have any horror stories about drones failing while using other than DJI batteries?

Suggest you go to the 'Search Forums' section near the top of the main page. There, type in 'Aftermarket Batteries' in the keywords section to bring up numerous threads about that subject. That should be all you need to get started.

Some members have had great luck with aftermarket batteries, whereas some have not. Me personally, I only use DJI OEM batteries. Good luck.

Just make sure they snap in at both the top AND the bottom. I've read horror stories of batteries falling out mid flight. I imagine an aftermarket locking system may not mesh perfectly. Buyer beware.
