You guys are getting some killer range! dirtybum, 58,500 ft is incredible! 11 freaking miles!

Thanks Jake, I don't shoot video on distance runs, I know the world would like to see it even though would be pretty boring in my neighborhood, but it takes too much battery power[emoji41]
I do snap a couple pics along the way just to prove I have a camera on
 
Just did 17, 074 ft with windsurfer. Landed with 13%. I'm afraid to go any further, because the thing will auto land.

Depends on how the winds treating you,if you're making good speed because of the tail wind, stay that high, sometimes it's a little crosswind,and you pick up a little more speed if your lower not being hit by it so bad

Basically if there's a strong head wind, it's better to fly low.

Yes, if you can help it find a path that doesn't have a direct head wind,one that's quartering slightly
