Thx. I'll try that next time. But that screenshot was almost 2,000 ft away though, so I would imagine there was no signal overload at that time. I will close and restart the app next time. Didn't really want to do that during flight, as I was over water and was pretty far out.
Was kinda disappointed with stage 2 kit at first. By my house, I got less than1,000 ft before control signal was lost, but I don't have good LOS here. That field is very open with probably no rf interference. I went 3,200 ft and probably could have gone further, but was a bit concerned about battery life. But overall, I am impressed with the kit and will probably add pinwheels to the Phantom later. I am just not looking forward to scraping epoxy off of a tiny connector, though...
I must say, I would be very concerned going on a high altitude long distance run with 3.04. When your battery's low and all you can get is 6M/S descent speed, that gets scary very fast...
