Just bought my first GOOD drone. It is a Phantom 3 Standard and I am so looking forward to taking it out this evening or tomorrow. I got tired of the cheap small drones that were nearly impossible to control. I am looking forward to it. The only think was that there was no micro usb cable in the packaging to charge my controller, but fortunately I had one at home.

That's odd that you were missing that cable. It's supposed to come in the box. I suppose you could contact DJI to get it replaced, but it's probably not worth your time.

I took my P3S out for the first time a week ago. They're a blast, aren't they?
For what it's worth...I recently downloaded the Litchi app and have enjoyed the VR viewing option a couple of times. My next step is to plot some routes with Litchi and "enjoy the ride" hands-free.
