Apparently the drone should stop before taking each image so it’s slower. Speed or quality?

Not sure where that idea came from .. it's not true at all.
If it was you could only ever map very small areas.
You drone can acquire mapping images as it flies along at 20-30 mph.

DJI just released a firmware update for the V2.0 that will make it RID compliant. They are still a great choice for flying photogrammetry and mapping missions due to the 1" 20mp sensor and mechanical shutter. I just picked up a third one last week!
