Anyone thought of using an App like Wifi Map Maker - Paid or WiFi Map Maker Pro (different apps) to figure out where there is a lot of WiFi congestion and avoid flying there and maybe try to find areas with less congestion instead? May make for longer flights or better FPV quality.
Was thinking of strapping the cell phone to the copter and run the app(s) and fly around to see how much WiFi interference it actually sees and where.
How much does WiFi interference/congestion actually play a part in how far we can fly without losing connection? I noticed in a large park with no other WiFi around I was able to go 4000' with LOS, but near my house I can only go 2000' LOS before FPV drop and was thinking this was due WiFi congestion but not sure.
