I didn't think you could use that on a P2V/P2V+ though..? I could be wrong but I thought that was a common gripe.

But yeah, according to Simon N's YT, it's a Dji confirmed "rumor" that they'll be activating the 7th Channel on the 2V+ in the next firmware update. I just want to have one on hand if/when it get's re-activated. And $10 isn't a big deal in case they don't for some reason.
