Use Devo F7 with P2 V+?

Hi All,

So I have a Devo F7 transmitter from another quad, and I want to try to repurpose the F7 to work with the DJI Vision 2+.

A coworker more experienced with drones than me said I'd need a SBUS adapter. I found a few threads that say to get a DSMX S.Bus receiver of your choice (e.g. orangeRx) and install deviation firmware. But looking at deviation firmware looks like it doesn't support the dji phantom?

So is what I'm trying to accomplish going to work - can I out of the box put a OrangeRX or other sbus receiver in the DJI phatntom and use my Devo F7?
And would it be possible to get telemetry data on the FPV screen of the F7? Or would this be a better route:

That says data is visible with TM1000 module. Is that all I need?

Now that is a good question because I am having the same.
So far I have not found any real answer on the internet so I am really interested
