Ummm... You're doing it wrong

    If you put copper shielding on the outside of the phantom like that, you're actually blocking the gps signal. If you look on the inside of the phantom, the gps is mounted on top of the shell, and it has copper shielding under the gps to help block any signals from the wifi and such located underneath it so it doesn't interfere with the gps signals. Or at least that's how I think it works. (still a newb with how it all works but I'm working on it.)

    I like the item description

    Not sure if he got the foil mod wrong or that's one hell of a shell cover

    wow.. half price (aussie price anyway).. I'd be tempted to buy it.. no warranty, but free to fix it up without worrying about that.

    That's the mod if you want to fly anywhere without restrictions. You'll be in permanent ATTI Mode though...
