I'm currently researching the best way to get certified with PFAW in the UK. In doing lots of research, a thought struck me, is it practically possible to achieve PFAW CAA approval without actually attending a certified course? That is, without any previous aviation experience?
I can see it would be extremely difficult without experienced guidance, but is it actually possible? Say you could complete an Ops Manual to a satisfactory standard, how would you demonstrate the understanding and practical flying skills that an approved trainer would vouch for in a application to the CAA?
