Very happy with the sale of a pic yesterday but since the $$ haven't come through yet, I guess I can still show it off:

Meta, I always love your boat photos. Very nice. How do you like smugmug? I am thinking of giving it a try. Barry Blanchard talked about it on the FB Owners page a few days ago. Do you get many sales with it?

I think Smugmug is great. It's very flexible and displays photography well.
But I don't use it to sell for me - I have the sales feature turned off.
But one good feature for sales is that I can set up private galleries for clients and give them a link to see their project.
If they want to buy it's a simple matter to send them a download link.

Meta, thanks for that. I will have to check it out. That sounds great for the private galleries. I like that for them to have that option.

I'm rather pleased with this one hot off the press. It's a 12 image panorama, shot the good old-fashioned way with half second exposures and looks great full screen on a big monitor.
