So first couple of flights now done and everything went well.

I want to take some aerial shot of my house but I live 600ft away from an electrical sub - station its a fairly large complex

A search on the internet say its an ( 132kV air insulated switchgear (AIS) substation. )

i`m concerned that this may cause some interference problems although I wouldn`t be flying over it.

Anyone have any idea if this would be a problem.

I've flown alongside & over 180-foot high-tension towers without a hitch. But those are transmission wires and not transformers like you'd find in a substation. Fortunately magnetic force falls of rapidly with distance so 600 feet away is probably more than a safe. If your PV starts acting strangely just disengage GPS mode and fly in non-GPS mode (S1 Middle), give it some altitude and bring her home.
