Today I tried RTH for the first time.. Got out maybe 75 yards about 70 foot up, rth set to 100ft & turned off the TX. What a feeling.. heart in my throat, weak in the knees, legs shaking..
It hovered a bit.. (I've read it would) went up, OK... starting to come back.. oh oh.. is it going into the woods.. nope.. stops.. makes a 90 to over where it took off, lowered, landed, & shut down....
I've never held my breath so long... wow..

back to practicing figure 8's forward & backward now..
Just wanna say thanks to you's for answering my questions up to this point. I do appreciate the help..
Hope it's ok to post this here if not......well....

I read this in the manual but it seems like there are some words or punctuation missing:
Aircraft automatically descends and lands if RTH is triggered when the aircraft ies within a 20 meters (65 feet) radius of the Home Point. Aircraft will stop ascending and immediately return to the Home Point if you move the left stick if the aircraft reaches 20 meters (65 feet) altitudes or beyond during Failsafe.
