You can always made jpg's from screenshots of the vids. Although less resolution pics, they actually look better in the screen.

Sadly no...this is a feature I would really love.
BUT....if you film in 4k you can later use an editing program to get frame grabs which will look great.

lol you do realize many cameras out there can take pictures while filming. It's a normal feature on many cameras

With my canon 6D I can take a photo during movie shooting, but the movie will then record a still moment lasting ~1sec. So I very seldom use that feature because it ruins the movie.
