just recently updated my phantom 2 vision and it seems the distance for my fpv on my phone had dropped dramaticly.
Is this an issue for others as well?

Gee, I just posted a comment in another thread a moment ago kinda talking about this.
I'm still at 3.06 main controller and 3.2 PC Assistant. Somewhere along the line I went from around 1000 ft distance to about 400 feet distance. I've had a couple other battery issues but I don't think that was the problem.
What soft / hardware versions are you using?

not 100% sure as i'm at work right now and cannot double check.
but i just updated last week to the newest update.
also had my first fly away the day after my update, got about 20-30 feet up and screen said connection lost, and the quad took off hard left about 100yards into the trees.

Whoa! That's scary stuff. Hope it didn't do too much damage.
I've had many flights where it said "Lost Connection" and it started the RTH sequence. I got control back before it got overhead, and continued flying.
