License/registration required?

they are treating you like proper pilots - they need to present flight plans etc - you don't just jump in a plane and take off :)

The 90 days isn't unreasonable when you consider it's for professional work - we've done shoots in the past where it takes three months to get permission from a town or city. Where actors and crews need to be in place and clearance from major airports - you think flying in Canada is bad, try and fly (legally) in London. Yep, weather is always a problem that far in advance - if we have to get permissions for complicated areas we always apply for 5 days on which we may fly just one.

Your form looks like the right one but I'm not up on the laws in Canada
