It bring attention but also it bring order and responsibility. If people see you without one but with a control remote, they will be asking themselves, what this guy is doing? Now when they see me wearing a vest, they come to you and ask questions about the drone and how they will like to join it too.

Each to their own- I prefer people not to come and talk to me when I'm flying. If you feel more comfortable wearing a vest and like attention go for it.
