I don't understand my drone flyaway?

Ever hover over your head? Prop wash would render data worthless. Maybe those tubes they use on jets, 4 pointing in all directions. Then any residual air from props would be used to negate self generated wind, leaving the one getting air blown in with the airspeed.
I guess in theory it could be handled, not with peco tubes, but electronically through lab deviation data, which could be held in the AC derived from the accelerometers and motor and battery performance. Incidentally, as we're talking about headwind and tailwinds, prop-wash would be irrelevant.

Thanks for passing on your knowledge.
Had you been aware of the rules regarding height and distance then your drone may not have flown away. If however you were aware and chose to ignore the flight rules then it serves you right.
