How can I tell which phantom I have

I just found one on Amazon for 74$ and it has a lever on the back and it says DJ6. But I was reading reviews and they said the DJ6 is for the 2.

I see it has a green led on transmitter. My first P1 bought in April 2014 had a red led. The ones that I got in Jan and July of 2015 have the green led and beep when you turn them on.

And if you scroll down to where the questions are, you'll see that the sellers corrects themselves saying it for the phantom 2.

watch the frequency of the transmitter you need 2.4 ghz some will be 5.8 ( like Monte55 with the FC40). If it has a level in the back I would think it's 5.8 . Level it for the gimbal.

They also had the FC40 that is basically a P1 with a camera and was on 5.8 ghz.

Monte did the FC40 come with a range extender also?

I think that was for a new one so that's not too bad. Finding a good used one anymore you can trust might be hard.

Be careful that you know the frequency of the bird. Some P1s were put out on 5.8 gh also.
