Gimbal Lock

    I unboxed mine today and the gimbal lock was not attached although there was cardboard stuck in the back of the camera to mitigate movement. Do you think it could have gotten damaged?

    Also no lens cap???

    The Phantom 3 does not come with a lens cap. You can get a nice cap here.

    I did not receive my Phantom 3 yet. Others have been posting about this issue -- in various places. You really won't know if it's damaged until you try to use it.

    Exact same thing here. I flew for first time this evening and it worked fine.
