Hello All,
This is my first post here so I'm pretty excited! I bought a P4 for recreational use and potentially getting into some photography opportunities later down the road. My question was about flying over a lake, I've read tons of posts about it and I can't seem to find a clear answer about this one.
So if I'm flying let's say between 70-150 feet above the water. (Following some jet skis and speed boats around that family members are on) do I need to turn VPS off or since I'm so far up its irrelevant?
Second question would be how close to the water can you take it with VPS on if recommended and how close to the water can you take it with it off? The reason why I'm asking this is because if the whole family is swimming in the lake, I think getting the drone down close and going around everyone would make for some awesome footage.
Thank you for the replies!
P.S. I'm from St. Louis, so if anyone knows any locations that would be great to fly or get some awesome pictures at, I'm all ears!
