First flight

Why would anyone hand catch? no way am I going to do it. I cant see the reason. I just land.

First of all, I wouldn't even recommend to a new pilot to hand catch. Second, I would hand catch only when really needed. That's just me.

I always manual land. I have done this all the time ,its real simple, just bring it down slowly from about 2-3 foot height and if it wanders ,you still have control. I always try to take off and land on an old card table that is flat on the ground, Then no dirt can get in the motors or suck up dirt or grass clippings.Its close to 100 degrees here today so no flying for a while.
