Finally broke a prop. So now I have a 9443 vs 9450 question.

Yes okay,
Spoke with DJI yesterday that told me that FC40 is born with 9450,

That does not sound correct.
I'm thinking the stock FC40 propeller is the 8045.

I'm thinking thats more correct than 9450...
Quick check - measure the length of the prop. If its 9" or more then they are P2 props of one flavour or another.
If they are 8 inches they are P1/FC40 props. The FC40 is based on the P1.

I think DJI man speak with forked tongue.....

I checked Them all an there is actually a little spot where it says 8045, so can i upgrade them to 9045 and maybe get 2-3 min longer + better flight time ?

Yes, the 9450 will work fine on the FC40 or P1. You might want to adjust the gains in Naza though. I will definitely get a set for my FC40 and P2.

Hi Lake_flyer, can you advise on which gains to adjust? Iv'e read the naza on gain adjusting, learn't enough to stuff it up & confuse the issue, do you adjust ALL the gains values or just one or two?

I've changed nothing on mine, zips around like an fc40 on steroids and I still get longer fly times. :)

Whats the bad things you get with the 9450?

I find it is a little more prone to winds with the 9450s than the Original 8" rotors but that's all. Definitely recommend them but do make sure they are genuine parts, the fake ones I had made it handle like a pig.

Ya gonna share the link to the best place to buy them, or are you just going to keep teasing us?

I flew the STOCK 8 inch, and the 9443's today at about 7500 feet. Oh My Gosh.

Couldn't get 4 minutes out of the stock props. Did great with the 9443s.

Must have DJI 9450. NO KNOCK OFF'S, NO CRAPPOLA.

C'mon pert, spill :?:

:)
