I've not seen this mentioned in the manual. I do know that DJI does not recommended it.No - per the manual it will overheat the charger.
I charged mine at the same time as well before I noticed that in the manual. The charger didn't get noticeably hot but the RC did take 3.5 hours to charge. Is that normal? (The main battery charged in about 1-1.5 hours.)I've charged both simultaneously without issue. That was before I read their recommendations against it. I think if it was a major issue they should simply provide one connector on the charger compatible with both the battery and RC, that way it would only be physically possible to plug in one at a time.
As I remember, it never took 3.5 hrs to charge for me.I charged mine at the same time as well before I noticed that in the manual. The charger didn't get noticeably hot but the RC did take 3.5 hours to charge. Is that normal? (The main battery charged in about 1-1.5 hours.)
The first time I charged by RC it did take about 3 hours-- it is going to depend on the state of the battery-- if it is down to 25% or less it will take longer.I charged mine at the same time as well before I noticed that in the manual. Thanks. Maybe it was just *really* dead when I got it. Haha...As I remember, it never took 3.5 hrs to charge for me.
Show off haha [emoji6] l had to buy a second P3p to obtain a second charger - only joking [emoji6][emoji106]I solved that wee dilemma, and bought a second @DJI100w charger.
It works out great, with my present four intelligent flight batteries. ;-)

DJI 100W battery charger is $99 in Australia I am doing OK so far with the provided 57W battery charger for my 3 batteries. If I want to charge more batteries and faster, I would choose that above blue multi-battery charger.Quit stressing over chargers and get this one-- cheap, works great, and charges 3 batteries at once
