I am just thinking of some options for myself. I really enjoy my P3P but miss some of the fantastic shots I could give my clients with my P2 and GoPro. I much prefer the camera on the P3P and like the functionality of the pilot app but don't enjoy the latency. I know some here have said they don't have a problem with the latency but with the type of video that I offer to my clients I need to see the video in real time. We often shoot in not so ideal conditions, area and strong winds etc, and having lag on the video when I fly a lot of fpv close to and through objects means the 250ms to 500ms lag is making it harder if not impossible on some of the footage we trying to get.
My question is would it be possible to fit an analogue 5.8 vtx to run the video to a screen, which I was using for my P2 and GoPro setup? I would only like to take the video line to the 5.8 vtx and the rest would appear on the tablet and app as per normal (I guess I could leave the map running on the tablet). Anyone know if it could be done easily and how to do it?
Any other better suggestions to get real time video would also be great.
Thanks Jase
