I had a bad experience this past week. I found out Phantoms can't swim! Unfortunately, my craft was blown toward a palm tree where it clipped a frawn just enough to cause the Phantom to drop about 5 feet to the pool deck below. The impact tore the Gimbal and GoPro from the mount (that was a good thing) then the craft took a bounce and landed in a swimming pool. I was fortunate enough to recover the craft with in a couple of minutes. I took it home, opened it up and put it into a trash bag filled with rice to aid in drying it out. In my haste to assist in the drying process, I disconnected the connections to the Naza 2 without marking exactly where they reconnect. Now, I want to reconnect the Naza and cables to see if the machine will come to life and also hook it up to the Phantom 2 Assistant software to check out the unit. I can't seem to find any instructions or better still photos of exactly where these connectors go. The board of the Phantom 2 is not marked that I can see to make a logical connection. So, if any of you can provide some closeup shots, I would greatly appreciate it. My craft has the ground station, the 5.8GHz transmitter and the iosd-mini attached to it. Non of these items were disconnected.
Thanks,
Embarrassed,
