I crashed my v2+ and toasted the camera. I need now what I need to get a Zenmuse H3-3Dand go pro to do the same thing as the v2+. And should I go this route, or just get another v2+ camera and gimb s l for $670?
Re: what do I need to convert a v2+ to Zenmuse H3-3D and go
I did both, actually. My P2V+ crashed in Laos and bent the gimbal. I sent it to DroneFly (never again) in Southern Cal and they repaired it, charged me and never said a word.
I also bought a P2V and had a Zenmuse H3-3D installed by Hani at UAV Repair in Minnesota. He swapped out the frequencies and upgraded the controller with a gimbal lever. He also installed my 5.8 transmitter for my Fat Shark Predator goggles. I found Hani to be very responsive. In addition to professional technical work, he returned my calls and fielded my numerous questions. You might give him a call.
Re: what do I need to convert a v2+ to Zenmuse H3-3D and go
it's possible to convert the whole thing yes.
but you would probably be better off with building on non vision P2 (2.4Ghz) and put an FPV system on top of that (5.8Ghz).
i actually have couple for sale right now, complete FPV system with case, monitor and all
Re: what do I need to convert a v2+ to Zenmuse H3-3D and go
Battery probably needs that crack glued and could be fine.
I'd give it a shot with the gimbal thou. If you want you can
Send it my way and I can look at it.
I get them in this kind of shape all the time.
Let me know.
