Partly why I went for 5.8ghz instead of 2.4ghz just in case interference is the main issue with 2.4ghz flyaways. Here in the UK 2.4ghz is everywhere especially WIFI so makes sense to me to go for 5.8ghz. Yes range is reduced but better than 5km away with you no longer at the controls ;)

5.8GHz is going to be equally as crowded soon enough with most all WiFi routers supporting it these days. A good spread spectrum setup can work it's way through crowded 2.4GHz ISM as long as not all of your neighbors are downloading porn videos at the same time! P2 stock RX/TX is now tested out to 5km which is just a little impressive!
