Same here man way to nice out..i see the trees swaying but i dont care i wanna fly bad...dropping the kid off at school in an hour then right to my spot i go. Checked everything over..last batt is on charge now..externals are ready to go..booster battery ready. I made a temp bracket for that 5.8 panel..i really want to try it today. So im going to boost the 2.4 side and no booster on 5.8 panel.. i hope this goes good..if it does the ebay seller has 3 more of those panels and a 24dbi 5.8 for $35
I was correct the winds aren't exactly right for a record run. I was hoping to be going a little faster on the way back but I ended up going to same mile per hour as on the way out, another almost!

**** man you sure can push it. Maybe add a glider wing that pops up when the battery hit 1%.and you can glide it in.

just did another run waited a little longer in the morning, for the fog to lift, got another 2.3 miles out. Charging another battery going to try a different direction !! Im not running boosters or anything just the panel i think thats pretty darn good 2.3-2.4 miles.... Way further then the standard is supposed to go...
Tony, obviously that run was with the advanced, but you're right about one thing when I first got the standard I read that people was having struggles to get 2 miles out of it so especially unboosted you're doing all right my friend[emoji41]
Alright guys im back from the run...disapointed..heres a pic of the setup and ill post the results in a few...**** trees i hate em!!! Good thing no one was there cuz i was yelling out some bad stuff...
That's a serious set up Pro! In my neighborhood that would be a winner, but you can't expect much more than a couple thousand feet with all those trees around there, its just not realistic[emoji41]
Next time I'm flying I'll give you a pic of what my controller is seeing in front of it, it will put it into perspective

It was weird tho unboosted on 5.8 new panel got me 2800' and you could see the bars dropping...then the next flight boosted I got over 3k but went from strong to RTH just like that...I ended up cruising around after lol...then some doucher in a low flying bi plane almost blasted me out the sky...geez these people in real planes...this dude coulda touched the trees he was that low....anyways here's a screen shot of my crappy run
Dude flying from where you're at with the P3S , i'm telling you that's decent distance, you can expect anything more with all those trees around you. It went from full-blocked because of the trees.
