Swapping a pro4 motor with a 4 motor.

I just want to be assured that the motors are the same. I'd like to keep the Pro in the air while I wait for a replacement motor.

yes the motors are the same, the propeller mounts are different but use the same propeller

I hope your right, i just ordered a p4 motor for my p4p, But when i talked to DJI they told me they were not the same, and they told me to send it back in to get it repaired. I wanted to replace the motor myself due the the turn around time it takes to send it in and for them to send it back.

We swapped the motors a couple days ago. Have about 5hrs flight on it with no issues as of yet. controls fine, no issue with sensors. I'm calling BS on DJI wanting to send the motor in. I'd like to find the specs on the motors to compare.

I'm glad to hear that as i ordered a p4 motor to replace the one on my p4p also, I have not been able to find any specs or model number on the motor of the p4p.
