Guys what the heck? All wifi channels almost free; yet I am getting terrible downlink on an iPhone 5a. Does the phone used matter? Have you experienced something similar? I closed all programs, then restarted, disabled all network connections, still the same!!!!! I am infuriated!!

Not sure if this helps but a few days ago I had the same problems and went into Image Transmission Settings and manually picked my channels, download speed etc. that seemed to help. What I'm gathering also is even if you don't think heat is an issue, it very well can be. Your iPad, or whatever device, doesn't necessarily need to feel hot to the touch or even very warm for the image to be affected. Hope this helps!
