Interesting you mentioned 3D.
I just got some FPV goggles that have a 3D switch on the bottom for the blue/red and also some-by-side 3D thing as they have a separate 1920x1080 screen for each eye ("Royole Moons" fwiw, which have about twice the screen width of the Gylphs I tried.). They have storage for 32GB worth of photos and videos on its power cable too. I know most 3D's are two shots at minimum and about eyeball widths apart, I think.
I've been wondering if setting up to have the drone fire off a sequence of still shots on a fly-by-wire at a slow flight speed would work, and then combine them for a 3D effect in still photos? Maybe duplicate the flight with Autopilot or Litchi and shifting the fly-by-wire a bit horizontally and repeating same flight for the 3D offset for video? Dunno...
