Shell and camera replacement what to do...

I crashed my P3A. It will need new gimbal/camera and the shell needs to be replaced.
I kept the remote. I purchased a drone only because I needed it for an event.

Is it worth repairing...I would then need a remote controller once I fix it.

What should I do? What would you do in my situation? Is it even worth fixing?

You can buy a replacement Phantom on its own and use your current rc with the new one.

If you're sure the camera/gimbal cannot be repaired, then it would most likely be cheaper/easier to buy a new Phantom. You can buy just the P3A without the remote controller directly from DJI here.

I did buy the new phantom, NO remote. But I want to know what I should do with the phantom that I crashed.

What kind of shape is the camera/gimbal in? I might be interested if for nothing else than parts.

Camera is fine, but I think it's the connecting arms and black ribbon that might pose a problem. It fell about 12 feet.
