The only time my P2V went haywire upon take off was when (I discovered after it abruptly regained control and I landed it) I discovered the S1 switch was in the down position. I lost connect one other time when it was up about 300' and about 100' behind me. As soon as I turned and aimed the WiFi extender toward it, connection was restored. Now, ever since, I make darn sure that S1 switch is all the way up before takeoff, and I will tilt the WiFi extended depending on whether I am flying low or high.
