Rotorpixel gimbal for Phantom Vision

Guys, I feel like such a tease. My Phantom is packed up and I am driving to San Antonio to catch an early AM flight. I will unpack it in SA and take/post some more pictures. Once I am in Oregon, I will do another test flight and post some video. I do not have a good way to weigh it. All I can say at the moment is *LOVE*.

Fair comments and look forward to more photo's and VIDEO !
Cheers Glen.

Still slow progress at Rotopixel; I just got this reply to my query checking what order number they are currently up to with shipping:

Mid 300s...argh I'm out of luck for my trip to the Caribbean. I was hoping to Get some great video. Ill have to settle for some good pics and ok video. No way i'll get my order in 3 weeks. Im 438.

At least its good to see that people are starting to get them. Still blows my mind how many people ordered in the 6 or 7 hours I was sleeping.

Given that RP has indicated expected weekly output in the 50-100 range after the initial smaller "high QC scrutiny" batches, and we've heard of mid 350 numbers shipping I'd think under 3 weeks may be reasonable. I'm 410, a theoretical week or so out in production, 438 isn't far behind.

Having been sat in customs here since Monday morning, my tracking has just changed from "Awaiting Customs Clearance" to "Awaiting Customs Charging". Slightly frustrating it took them 2 working days to work out that I need to pay VAT and duty... <sigh>

Still, for anyone else in the UK I will let you know the duty rate that we will be charged on this as soon as I have seen the breakdown.

Video that shows my novice piloting skills :). It is at least first flight RotorPixel footage.

That footage was pure butter! Even on the fast descent this thing looked great!
