Rookie help with new purchase

So after seeing several friends purchase DJI drones I am in the market one for myself. I already have a go pro hero 3+ black so I was thinking the phantom 2 would be the best option? One of the guys purchased this setup from Atlanta Hobby minus the go pro and it looked impressive when I looked at it. Like I said I am a complete rookie and appreciate the help. I would like to have the video screen on the ground to see where I am flying and would prefer it to be ready to fly as I am not the bet with soldering wires etc.

I've seen some combos on b&h photo you can check them out. There should be some other posts on this forum with other sellers that offers kits. I bought the phantom 2 and the AVL58 separately and put it together myself. It's not too difficult.
