Return to home P3S problem

New to the Phantom and am having a problem with locking in RTH.Every time I try and test it she goes straight down in a controlled landing. I have searched and can not find a step by step instruction to lock in the RTH. Thanks for any help.

Are you further than 20m from the home point? If not, that is working as designed.

Fly out 100 feet or more and activate RTH
