You seem to have strong feelings about DJI support, can you explain? I do not think a battery losing power could ever be a warranty issue, unless the battery could be shown to be very defective, but the defective issue was not visible, since we have a responsiblity to make sure we have power at all times. Especially that we have enough power to return home and land safely.
I get the feeling that you want this repaired under warranty? Even if they would fix it for $65.00 an hour plus parts you won't use this option? I had a crashed vision +, I called the phone number and after 3 or 4 days I got through. The girl said there would be no problem with a repair and it would probably not be warranty. And I agree, the drone crashed. not their fault, not my fault either but thats a long story. If I get mine fixed for say under $200.00 I will be very happy. I sent it in last week and they got it on friday. I was told that after they look at it I will get an email with the repair plan. I was told the repair would take 4 weeks. I don't have any problem with any of this. Good luck with your fix, please keep posting how it goes... so far sounds like $500 - $600
Hey Wedeliver, Thanks but no thanks. I've tried DJI "Support" and find they are worse then useless, a giant wast of time. They might as well say no warranty and not give customers false hope.
As for the camera / gimbal, it looks as if I have to pay for a replacement, and can fit it on myself.
Unless anyone here can give me an alternative.[/quote]

If you get in a queue and they give you a caller number (you are caller 25) do not hang up. you will get to support staff and you will get an RMA number. then you can send it in for repair. Since it is not a warranty repair you will pay $65.00 per hour plus parts. They work quick so your bill will be mostly parts probably. It might take a couple days to get though but worth it I think. Pick up a used Phantom 1 so you can fly for the month your vision + is gone for repair. Thats what they say, 1 month turn around.
Good luck.
