OK, I get how a quad flies. I understand up and down. Banking 360 degrees. But how in the world does it turn/spin? I'm thinking something to do with the apposing rotation of the props.

Curious.

That's it exactly. RPM differences between the CW and CCW motors create a torque imbalance which directly results in yaw. If the CW motors are running faster, the yaw will be CCW, and vice-versa.

Of course it's pixies.

If they're unhappy for whatever reason (you don't care enough to read their manuals, they think their owner is a bad person, scared of power towers, etc) they will just fly back to their homeland and take their phantoms with them.
