OK... weather has been crappy so I've had my vision in the trade craft box for about 30 days. Which is killing me BTW!

Gave the batteries a top off and they are showing full charge.

Went out to fly and when I put the battery in an pressed for 2 Seconds nothing happens. No beeps and lights... just the battery showing full power. Tried the other battery and same thing.

    Anyone else ever experience this?
Looking for advice on where/how to start trouble shooting.

    Thanks in advance!

Remove the batteries, and clean all connections:
    Battery leads, and communication leads:

That's a new one, I would suggest the 1st thing to do is to check and clean both the power lugs and data pins on the battery and Phantom.

Thanks Jerry. .. will do. This baby has only flown 4 times and is essentially brand new. I hope that is it.

Press once, let off and then press again until it comes on, or about 2 seconds.

Ok... leads are very clean... still no power up.

Now that I'm inside here's what happens with the battery

Quick press... 4 green bars & red light for about a Seco d then off
2 sec press... 4 green bars & red light for about a second then off
5 sec press... 4 green lights & flashing red for about 7 seconds then off

    Any info on the lights?

It takes two presses of the button to start the battery

Moral of the story is don't neglect your bird (or your lady) so long you forget how to turn her on!

Oh, don't feel stupid. I have a hard time just remembering how to make coffee in my daily morning routine.

Don't feel bad. I did exactly the same thing on day one. Then I went to charge it and no lights came on and I got further confused. I couldn't figure out how fast it wanted the button pressed and had no idea that it won't take a charge if it were already charged over a certain percentage...
