Phantom 3 battery won't charge

Think I might have screwed up, yesterday my drone landed upside down on the roof. It was really hot and the bird was up there for several hours. After getting it down, I plugged in the battery to charge, and now it will not charge. I have tried all the tricks that are posted on Utube, but nothing is working. The single green light will flash when I push the button, if I hold the button down, only three lights light up.
Anyone have a suggestion other than dispose of it properly?

I have a few questions for you:

1) Are you able to turn the battery on?
2) Do any of the lights light up when you plug it into the battery charger?
3) Is the battery visually damaged on the exterior?

The battery will not turn on, when I hit the power button, only one light comes on, if I hold the button down three lights come on, if I plug it in the charger, nothing happens.

I am sorry, there is no damage, nor swelling.

It sounds like it's damaged (perhaps from the heat).
