personal vision videos

Here is some video from my first ever attempt to fly any quad. I really am enjoying the vision. It was fairly windy, and my focus was more on learning to fly. Now I am attempting smoother shots etc...

Awesome flight for an absolute first timer! Good editing too. Hmmmm. Gonna have a lot to live up to when mine gets here in a couple days.[/quote]

Thanks. You will love it. Easy to fly and very stable.

Here is my first attempt at a all vision footage video

If there is any tips about how to improve the video please let me know .

I have come to the realization that I should film in 1080p30 instead of 1080i60, since 1080i60 de-interlaced is the same as 1080p30
(if I'm wrong please let me know) and it will get rid of the combing effect that can be seen in some of the fast moving footage

let me know what everyone thinks

would like to see what it looked like previously without the lens correction,

looks really smooth , what stabilization did you use in premiere ?

Woohoo! First decent flying day that coincides with me being able to get out for nearly 3 weeks! Gorgeous day, went off to capture some video and stills of the Thames in flood near my home town. Lots of footage to edit for a video, but in the meantime here's a couple of stills from this morning:

Google's auto enhance didn't do too bad a job - not much it could do with the first one though, I had to point almost straight at the sun in order to get the shot. Might go out again tomorrow in the afternoon and get that view again, although I'm not complaining as it's the first time we've seen the sun in days... ;)

Hi, here is a new video I took this morning to test the range of my phantom vision.

It is a flyby over the neighborhood over a range of about 3200 feet. I positioned myself in the middle of the flyby to get the maximum range possible. 1600+ feet behind and 1600+ feet forward. Stock everything.

Photoshop used for lens correction using DJI filter. Premiere used for stabilization (using Warp Stabilizer).

This was shot in Valencia, California. Magic Mountain roller coasters to the left in the video.

View in 1080P HD for best quality.

And finally (after a couple of complete freezes) my ancient laptop finishes rendering. Windier than I thought today, couple of choppy bits in there (and one transition error I missed, ****). That Rotorpixel is looking very tempting if they can bring it out towards the lower end of their price range...

Still, here it is for what it's worth - bit of industrial architecture for a change, rather than just pretty landscape stuff:

No, that's just in the movies. But we do all know the Royal Family personally and talk like **** van Dyke... And if your quad props sever a finger you get it sewn back on for free. ;)

Ah... the joys of socialized medicine... (I've changed medical providers so often in the past decade that I have no idea who's covering me, what the coverage is or what the protocol is. If I saw a finger off, I'll just calmly walk over to the sewing machine and do my best... )

Another nice video but now you really have to go shoot Battersea - that would make a great subject for a P2V video and since you're the closest to it, you're nominated! ;)

Yeah, and I suppose next you will be telling me that is tea in your cup.

Actually I can't stand tea. That's a cup of home-roasted Guatemalan single-estate coffee from Cuchumatan in the Huehuetenango region.

Regarding Battersea - well I may be the closest but I'm no Trappy and don't fancy flying it in central London for all sorts of reasons! But I agree, it would look stunning.

Had a go at capturing a train on a local viaduct this afternoon. Filmed with Phantom 2 Vision.
Youtube stabilised only.
