Here's a video I did at our last rocket launch.

It was a windy day. We even had a dust devil cross the field. It passed under my P2V which was hovering at about 200 feet up. The helicopter quickly fell about 50 feet before recovering as the dust devil passed by it. I think I accidentally turned the camera off instead of on in my excitement trying to record the event, so I don't have video of the whirlwind's effect.

Anyway, back to the video ...

I spent a lot of time editing about 20 minutes of raw footage down to two minutes. Adobe Premiere's "Warp Stabilizer" ran for hours as I applied it with different settings to find the best results. Some odd Jello-like artifacts remain, but it looks much better than the raw footage:

This was my last video with the Vision before I upgraded to a Rotorpixel gimbal.

As you can see from the above test flight, the new gimbal promises to produce much better video so making the video presentable should be much easier and quicker.

Rain has already cancelled our rocket launch this Saturday so it'll be next weekend, at least, until I get a chance to really try out the new gimbal.

Here is a surfing video I made despite my video range limited to 400 feet. Pretty strange when over ocean. Don't know why--all firmware is the latest. Had to crop some of the distant surfing since I wasn't closer. Maybe need to lower preview quality as suggest.

There's some lovely videos on here.

Im gutted. Very nice day here (8am). Blue skies, hardly any wind. I charged my batteries and went over the park and realised I forgot my memory card. I took it out the other day and didnt put it back in. Not happy!! Rain is forecast soon :(

This was a fun one to film. My son got this Razor Flash Rider bike. Of course my daughter had to show off some of her sweet tricks as well. I don't think you can tell but there were quite a few obstacles to watch out for... powerlines, trees, children's heads. Editing wise i just compiled it all, not really much in the way of editing. Also, no stabilization or gimbal on these shots.

New video from today. This old bank building was the jewel of our town in the 60's and 70's. However the town moved south leaving this area to deteriorate. Eventually the last office moved out around 2006 and in 2008 the closed building was damaged by hurricane Ike. Every since I got the Phantom I wanted to film this bank.

Very nice although it would only playback in 360p?

I don't know how to tell how youtube is handling the video. It never looks as good as the original. I've tried uploading .avi which takes several hours and with this I used .mp4. I read keeping the video in its original form is best. I can use any and all tips on this video stuff. :D

Nice.
What statue is this ?

Geert./.

it's Duke Otto von Bismarck (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otto_von_Bismarck)
He unified the smaller German pirncipalities in the 1860s and founded the German state in 1871 which he reigned peacefully until 1890s, pioneering many aspects of the modern Social State (wellfare, pensions etc).

The statue will undergo rebuilding soon.
