P4 Settings: Where they are stored ? Are they persistent to next flight ?

Hi,
I am using the P4P along with dji GO 4 and Litchi. I read some folks using both apps at the same time. As a software engineer, it's a dangerous practice. But folks claim it works.
Are the drone and camera settings kept on drone and persist up to next flight ? What settings are kept in the drone, RC, tablet and battery ?

You never use both apps at the same time. If you are flying always ensure to have just one flight app open.
