P3P Gimbal Repair Dilemma

I recently damaged my gimbal in a crash. I have been trying to decide what I should do going forward. The yaw arm is slightly bent and the ribbon cable rubs against the camera when it pitches. Hooking the gimbal up to the Phantom I get a gimbal pitch error. I am guessing this is likely due to it rubbing against the ribbon cable which also has a very, very slight tear along the edge. I am trying to decide if I should put $100 towards repairing the gimbal (new yaw arm and cable) , or put it for sale on Ebay and use the money towards a new camera and gimbal. From what I have seen they are fairly easy to repair, but i'd hate to waste $100 and still have an inoperable gimbal.

Update: I have video feed, just a limp gimbal. I am sure there is just something I am missing and it could be easily fixable. I did take the gimbal apart and fixed the rubbing though.

Hard to say.
Depends on your technical skills.
Depends on the damage (pics would be nice).

I'm in Australia, so i would buy a second complete p3 unit and sell the body and controller and keep the camera.
