P3 Professional firmware updates?

Hi Pilots
Can anyone recommend any new programs to use to update a P3 professional? Drone films fine so far but I need to upgrade the firmware some how in order to fly it.

You do not need to have the latest firmware to fly. Do you have DJI GO installed on your phone or tablet? For Phantom 3 Professional you would use the DJI GO app before phantom 4.
The app will give you a “ need firmware update “ message, but it will disappear in 10 seconds. It will fly as normal.
You are better off with the older firmware, less restrictions on the drone.
If you do choose to update it, USE A SMALL FAN POINTING AT THE CAMERA GIMBAL WHILE IT UPDATES! Phantom 3 Professional is famous for overheating the gimbal board and ruining it,you must keep it cooled while updating.
