Opening a itelite or dbs antenna?

Yes, it's been done but it's not recommended because it's too easy to bend the metal backing of the antenna which will do permanent damage. I've seen pics. Let's try a search and see if they come up...

Yep. I didn't see any photos of just the DJI antenna.

There has been one opened awhile back and I saw it but have looked several times and cannot find it .
Was just several of those green antenna panels the best as I can remember and was in P2V+ mods section . Was a while back
Was surprised it wasn't more to it .

And found this . Is for 2.4 & 5.8

What I find interesting is the 2.4s seem to be the same ones that were built into the P2V and RE.

Don't know how their wired Mark but if they are hooked to the ports the one on the far right is 5.8 .
Now I would have thought the one in the middle would be that but that's not what it looks like .
Little ones are what's in the Standard TX for 2.4
Again that's an old picture from when they first came out .

Right. I just assumed the big one was 5.8 and the cables move around under the panel. Because those little patch deals look exactly like the little 2.4s. They even say DJI on them.

I assume the ITELITE DBS is an active and not a passive device as it has a circuit board? Where does it get additional power to boost the signal if the only connections are the original antenna connections?

We have to have conservation of energy.
